Hello! My name is Carol Jones Wilson, and I’ve been suffering with the “genealogy bug” for 20 years, doing my own and my husband’s genealogy. I also do genealogy in Ashland and Bayfield Counties in Wisconsin for a fee.

Here are my qualifications: I have attended 2 years at Hastings College, Hastings, NE with an English major. I have completed two Tele-conference courses on genealogy given by James Hansen, Librarian at the Wisconsin State Historical Society. I am a Past Editor for the Ashland/Bayfield Counties “Tree-Climbers” Newsletter and a Dahler Family Newsletter. I am or have been a member in good standing of the Illinois State Genealogical Society, the Ohio Genealogical Society, the Fellowship of Brethren Genealogists, Palatine Immigrants, the Lancaster (PA) Mennonite Historical Society, Irish Family History Society, the North of Ireland Family History Society and the Welsh American Genealogical Society. I am also the Bayfield County coordinator for the Wisconsin State Old Cemetery Society.
